This is not self threading, just easier. I like Janome machines, they are all I use but this is false advertising.

Does NOT Auto-thread

The 634D is a great machine and there are a lot of videos on YouTube on how to operate the machine and they provide specific threading and tension settings which is extremely helpful. However, "simply flip a switch and it threads the lower looper" is not true. Threading is easy but it is not automatic.
