Kind of hard to see the cutting line as there is a guard. Had other issues too, going back to Janome.

My First Serger

Always wanted a Serger to learn how to make tops for myself. Found this great deal and took the plunge. I have a Baby Lock Destiny 2 Sewing/ Embroidery machine, so knew that it was a good product. I think I will be very happy with it.

New to serging!

I have not set it up, yet! Still trying to make some room. However, if I have any questions or problems, I know I can rely on Sewing Machines Plus. The customer service team is the best!

Quiet!

Very quiet compared to the brother 1034D. Definitely a nice upgrade.

Beautiful machine, works like a dream, easy to rethread. Also, it's quiet compared to my janome sewing machine. I love how compact and powerful it is. I've already made a couple shirts on it and I'm excited to have it available for all my projects to come!

I was worried about the shipping, I feared it would get knocked around and thankfully that didn't happen. I was worried about threading it as others Baby Locks have the air threaders. Have had for about a week, so still learning. It really is not that hard to thread. I have to use the tweezers provided as there is not much room to put your hand in to grab the thread once it is in the needle. Someone with smaller hands may not need the tweezers. Powerful and quiet serger.

I am still getting to know my new serger and there is much for me to learn. However, so far I am very happy and will provide an update one day later. The price was great, fast delivery and excellent product. I will come back to SewingMachinesPlus when I am ready for a new sewing machine.

Very pleased with my purchase.

I was looking for a better way to edge pieces of flannel. What used to take me 15 to 20 minutes to do on my sewing machine, now takes me all of four minutes and I get a more professional looking edge. I love my new machine.

Super Easy! Perfect Stitches!!

I have never serged before and saw a You Tube video where the lady recommended the Baby Lock Vibrant. Once I received my machine, I read the instructions. It was already threaded with the sample threads with different colors. It was easy to set up! I serged through the sample threads and rethreaded by tying all my new 4 individual threads and pulled them through the machine.… read more I haven’t tried all of the stitches yet - just the original one. I’ve used it with the cutter on and off. Stitches are perfect! It cut my sewing time in 1/2. It moves very quick!! Love this product!!

babylock vibrant

I only tested it out for a minute and it seems like a good serger. I have used babylock imagine and she is having problems at this time. I purchased this serger as a back up and she appears to be up to the task

This was a great buy.. I receive shipping and free 6 pc feet.. I did not receive my free thread as promised and emailed them 2 times with no response . Over all great product great price.

Good buy for the price

So far is is doing okay. Noisy but that’s expected from mechanics. The thread holder moves around and gets thread tension messed up. I may have to tape something.

Good machine

The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t have a free arm so you can sew small pieces such as arms and leg seams

I have had the Vibrant Serger for a couple of weeks and have used it some. I previously had another Baby Lock serger for 28 years and it finally wore out and was unable to be repaired. The older serger had a much better instruction booklet with it and the threading process was more clear. Hopefully after more use I will be happier with this new Baby Lock Serger.
