I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to attach my 1950's slant needle. I regret not ordering one sooner! I'm even considering purchasing a side cutter for non-zigzag machines, and am testing it out on some light quilted fabrics - the results so far are very encouraging.

The foot is amazing and the price even more so! Everywhere else I searched for a walking foot compatible with my Singer 401A was far pricier than this one, at least $23 plus shipping. Not only does it work just as good as the modern machine's version but also produces the same ticking sound in videos. Plus, its performance on my other machines has been consistently remarkable!
