The blind hem foot has a metal guide in the center and three grooves on the underside. The fold of the fabric fits snugly against the guide in the foot for accuracy while blind hemming. The needle swings over the metal guide, creating slack in upper tension so that pick of stitch is almost invisible.

September 4, 2019I've been using the Janome Blind Hem Foot on my Decor Excel Pro 5124 for several months now and I'm very impressed. The foot fits perfectly and the metal guide is sturdy and reliable. The pick of stitch is nearly invisible and the finished product looks professional. Highly recommended!

November 15, 2019I purchased this blind hem foot for my Janome machine and was very disappointed with its performance. The metal guide in the center is not sturdy enough and kept moving, causing my hems to be crooked. Even after adjusting the guide and tension, the results were not satisfactory. I ended up using my regular hemming foot and achieved better results.

November 29, 2019I've been using the Janome Blind Hem Foot on my MC9000 for about a year and I'm very satisfied with it. The metal guide is durable and the grooves hold the fabric securely. I've used it on a variety of fabrics and have always achieved a clean, precise blind hem.

March 29, 2020I'm a beginner sewer and the Janome Blind Hem Foot has been a game-changer for me. The metal guide in the center makes it easy to keep my stitching straight and the grooves hold the fabric securely in place. I've used it on my 4618 and DC3050 with great success.

June 12, 2020I was really disappointed with this blind hem foot. Despite following the instructions carefully, the guide in the center kept slipping, causing the hem to be uneven. I had to redo the hem multiple times, and even then, it was not perfect. I would not recommend this foot to anyone who wants a professional-looking hem.

February 14, 2021I've been using the Janome Blind Hem Foot for a variety of projects on my MC4800QC and I'm very happy with it. The guide in the center is easy to follow and the grooves ensure that the fabric stays put. I've had no trouble achieving a professional-looking blind hem with this foot.

February 28, 2021I was excited to try out the Janome Blind Hem Foot, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The foot is difficult to use, and the guide in the center is too high, making it hard to keep the fabric straight. The results were not consistent, and I ended up with uneven hems. I would not recommend this foot unless you are willing to spend a lot of time adjusting it.

July 18, 2022I've tried several blind hemming feet over the years, but the Janome Blind Hem Foot is by far the best. The three grooves on the underside of the foot hold the fabric securely, and the metal guide in the center ensures accurate stitching. I use it on my MC3500 and MC6600 with excellent results every time.
