The Bernina #C21 10/36 Double Fold Binder attachment is the perfect tool for adding a professional finish to fabric edges and necklines with bias tape. This attachment is used with the Binder Accessory Attachment on the L890. The unfolded bias tape is inserted into the guide rail, and then folded over twice on the upper and lower sides of the bias tape before being sewn on with a cover or chain stitch. The finished width of the bias tape will depend on the width of the tape used, with tapes of 38 mm width resulting in a finished width of approx. 10 mm, and tapes of 60 mm width resulting in a finished width of approx. 15 mm. An attachment adapter is required to use the tape binder.
